Creative Developments

As a result of the debate generated, a dialogue has been established between Shifting Ground and the Burren Visitor Management Initiative, with potentially very creative results (more to come on this at a later date).

On June 23rd '07, to coincide with the launch of Cross Land a Shifting Ground Gathering took place in the Research Station at Carron, Co. Clare. This was a round-table discussion made up of invited participants including farmers, artists, heritage specialists, ecologists, business people, regulatory body representatives, chaired by Ed Carroll of CityArts.
